In addition to traditional pines and firs, Korean fir or Vicha fir is suitable for this role. Many owners of private houses do not burden themselves with the classification of conifers and successfully decorate thuja and junipers for the holiday.

When decorating cities, decorating live Christmas trees with a garland on New Year's holidays is a standard practice, which is repeated from year to year. However, it is believed that bright garlands confuse plant biorhythms, creating stress for a sleeping tree and confuse it. Making them trivial is easy. Any containers are useful for this, for example, plastic packaging from cakes and pastries or silicone baking dishes, baby molds, the imagination is not limited here. In the molds, it is necessary to pour ordinary tap water, which can be left transparent, or tinted with any water-soluble paints of various colors.

In transparent ice toys, thin branches of shrubs, artificial or natural berries (dog rose, viburnum, mountain ash, cranberries, etc.), spruce paws and other natural materials will look original. By the way, children can be involved in the manufacture of toys, and they will gladly join the magic of creativity. In these cases, it is easy to use ordinary plastic cups as a form in which small toys will be frozen, for example, figures from Kinder Surprise.

Any ropes tied in a ring must be half-immersed in the cups, so that it is convenient to hang them. Ready-made molds are taken out at night on the street, sent to the refrigerator or to another freezing room, and in the morning you can start decorating the territory.

Ice toys will look good not only on conifers, but also on any trees in the garden. In the absence of a garden, such decorations can be placed on an open balcony or put on a windowsill on the back of the window.

Magic lanterns

Glass lanterns with flickering candles inside look magical. But if you replace them with ordinary banks with New Year's decor, the result will be no worse.
